Plate Types
Dateless Plates: Issued before 1963, these don't have an age identifier. They are valuable, especially shorter combinations.
Suffix Plates: Introduced in 1963, these have a format like ABC 123A, where the last letter (suffix) represents the year of registration.
Prefix Plates: From 1983 to 2001, the format was reversed, like A123 ABC, where the first letter indicates the year.
Current Style (2001–Present): The current system uses a format like AB12 CDE, with the first two letters indicating the area and the two numbers indicating the year.
